![]() I am getting tired of wrestling with X Theme and just want the thing to work as it should. swapon is not executable for singular vps account root. Please look at this issue and fix this time rather than just closing the ticket with no resolution. ![]() Therefore, it appears to be a problem with X. When I activate twenty fourteen theme rather than x theme or integrity dark child, The Visual Composer and Customizer start working again. Nothing support has suggested has worked so far. I have tested across 3 browsers (cleared all data/cookies/cache/etc), cleared server cache, and everything else that would be obvious so far. Most attempts to load will show all the customizer option tabs on the left but preview will never populate. Then if I make a change and hit update the backend editor button will be gone again. Note: Visual Composer editor does not support older browsers like Internet Explorer or Safari (macOS/iOS) up to 10th version. Sometimes I’ll open a page and the button will be there but the actual editor is at the bottom of the page underneatht the slider masthead settings. The “Backend Editor” button is missing and I have VC adjusted to all the correct admin user privileges. Most of the time it does not show up on a page/post when editing. The Visual Composer randomly works about 10% of the time. I have tried fresh wp installs, loading only x codes and visual composer plugins to rule out plugin conflicts, and tried all suggestions in knowledge base to no avail. I previously started a thread about this same issue that X Support apparently closed without really resolving. Visual Composer is fully compatible with WooCommerce and Ninja Forms as well. I have followed all of the tutorials/support documentation and contacted host to adjust server according to x’s requirements. Whether it’s for creating a custom About and Contact pages or creating product pages for your eCommerce website, Visual Composer can be used to create custom page designs without a hassle.
